Every September Bodegas Faelo begins its harvest and as tradition dictates in our house to finish, just as grandfather Rafael did, the Harvest Festival or Festa de la Verema is celebrated.
What is the Harvest Festival?
The #FaeloHarvestParty is a festival day for adults and children where you can see and participate, stepping on grapes, as the first generation did more than a hundred years ago and with the same utensils.
TICKET PRICE: €48 ADULTS. UNDER 18 YEARS OLD FREE ENTRY
The price of the ticket includes: 5 tickets with 5 drinks of wine+tapa each, harvester hat, gift glass cup, being able to step on grapes, walk through our facilities and vineyard enjoying the charm of our estate and the people who accompany us. this day.
The Harvest Party is an event for adults and children with admission at the price of €48 for adults and children under 18 free admission, in which people from all over Alicante come to see how the grapes are harvested manually and then as you step on with your feet, with some esparto espadrilles to the rhythm of a constant dance. People can climb the container where they step on called "afollaor" or "afonador" and participate in this party, they can also see how the grapes are pressed in a century-old manual press where all the color of the grape is extracted.
At the same time, tastings are offered, with the 5 entry tickets, of typical products from the Elche countryside, and this year a tapa of rice with chicken and wine from Bodegas Faelo to regain strength after stepping on grapes with the price of the ticket.
What activities can be carried out?
Bodegas Faelo is a traditional winery but with a young spirit, this #FaeloHarvestParty, we wanted young people, friends, families and children to participate in this day with us, like a big family... For this we have prepared different activities:
- A day where you can get to know our winery and all its facilities.
- Traditional grape treading with the feet, for adults and children.
- Tasting-TAPA of products from the Elche countryside + glass of wine (white, rosé, young red, aging red or sweet) for each ticket, the entrance fee includes 5 tickets, one of which is a tapa of rice with chicken.
- Gift of a "harvester" hat and glass cup from Bodegas Faelo.
- Game of treading grapes of the Moon of #BodegasFaelo with direct prizes for the little ones of cookies with muscatel grapes, made by Cookies for everyone. Children will be able to step on grapes just like adults and get their gift.
- PintaViñas area for the little ones where they can draw or paint their experience of a harvest day
- Background music throughout the event.
- This year we will have a Music Band playing live and performing a "pas-bodega" enlivening the Festa Verema for 2 hours.
-Harvest 2.0 on social networks and photographic contests with direct prizes for the selected photos that are posted on the networks with the hashtag #FaeloHarvestParty.
